The UA Mk15, No Weak Links

The Mk15 from Umbrella Armory is more than just a collection of the best components available, it’s a platform designed with a focus on seamless integration such that the sum of the whole is greater than the individual parts. This design philosophy seems to be what sets UA apart in the world of Airsoft. Guiding each model is an almost ruthless pursuit of optimized performance at the highest levels and the MK15 sits at the top of that pyramid.

Read through the list of the individual parts and you’ll see that everything is top-notch, no corners cut. But what I couldn’t tell from reading the build list is that the way everything is put together serves to elevate each individual component. The experience and craft alone put into building each gearbox is daunting. Additionally, there are hand lapped and polished barrels, custom built R-hop patches, heat treated main springs… the list just doesn’t stop. Put all of these together, and the end result just feels different than other platforms. Solid, consistent and so refined. Dressed up in the flattest, almost velvety, light-sucking matte black finish I've ever seen, and the only word that comes to mind is "Tactical."

I specified the MK15 as a RECCE model to compliment my M110A1 sniper from a previous purchase. I wanted something lighter, that still produced good power with exceptional accuracy and this seemed to fit the bill. Once coupled with a suitable optic, everything fell into place. The actual shooting is a dream, with the adjustable trigger and sensitive hop up unit combining to make setting the rifle up a straightforward exercise. Accuracy is acceptable right out of the box, but nothing compares to the hyper-accuracy you'll get after shooting 1000-2000 rounds. Once fully broken in, the rifle is capable of reliably hitting a 2" round target at 100'. Shot-to-shot consistency is beyond belief and when rocking the selector over to 'Freedom' (full auto) the results are best described as shooting lasers, the BBs are spaced so perfectly.

I bought this rifle because I appreciate well designed, built and executed high-end toys. The look, feel, and function of the MK15 just makes me smile, and since I don’t play golf, I’m actually spending a bunch less than many of my friends spend on a set of clubs. Sometimes, after a fun Saturday crawling in the woods shooting at people, I just like to put the gun on a stand and look at it from different angles. Then I'll connect a battery and bring up the Titan II app on my phone to review settings and see if there's anything to adjust. Once satisfied that all is as it should be, it's time to pack the Mk15 away for another week.

My third one just arrived. Unlike the previous 2, this one was wired to Deans T plug. The gearbox shell is solid and well made. The gears are equally nice with 16:1 ratio. The gearbox is easy to work on. Works terrific as is, so if your buying because you are not comfortable opening a gearbox
, buy with confidence.The piston is not full steel rack; however, it seems quite durable and I have not had any issues using them in the previous 2 that I have purchased. No issues fitting this gearbox into non-VFC receivers. Performance is tremendous in everything I've used them in from short 190mm inner barrel builds to 509mm, I did install a full unported cylinder in the longer build. Highly satisfied and will likely keep purchasing these as they become available. Still not going to pay $140 on other sites, but these are a steal at Umbrella Armory surplus prices. Side note: these guys have tremendous customer service and go above and beyond for their customers. Super refreshing to find companies that actually care if customers are happy!

Got this to mainly assist with keeping rain out of my occular lens. Works great and protects the glass. Bonus is it fit both my Sig tango msr and vortex strike eagle just fine. Keeps glare out as well. Ordering was simple. 10/10 love the color options as well!

This is probably my favorite looking UA gun that I own, I also have a UA LMG and OCAW. The 416 has all the great VFC externals with the best UA internal upgrades. The gun shoots lasers with .32g bb's and would probably shoot even better with .36's. The trigger response is very snappy and can be adjusted via the Gate Titan. Overall awesome product and it will perform better than your opponents weapons on the field!

Much more clarity and light transmission than real steel brand printed-ARDs. I only wish they made these for more models.

Been playing airsoft since 2018. Always wanted an UA rifle since day 1 and finally had the chance to give myself this treat. Waited 3 months for this bad boy. Awesome Customer Support..He explained everything from top to bottom since first email shared. Once I received the rifle( looooong $$ story) and plugged in the battery I never stopped smiling. The sound it made( Loud DMR 2.8 J) and the trigger response it has its just amazing. Tech said " our rifles are lasers" and he was NOT wrong. The precision and accuracy I get of this rifle its just "fun" to say the least.. just makes you giggle every shot you take cuz it goes where you send it..period. the only path the BB follows its just a straight line. Went to El Salvador for an 18 hour milsim in May and the rifle performed flawlessly, shooting the **** outta this rifle like I was told ( shout out to Mina Hanna ). Hitting targets at very loooong distances and the Kid that got shot having no idea how I made it all the way to him... This is what I paid for. This will not be my only UA rifle.. hopefully by the end of this year ill go for another one. Please listen to your tech when he tells you to use specific BB weight/brand for your rifle.. It just changes EVERYTHING for better. I've had the rifle since April this year and had no issues whatsoever and pretty sure it will stay that way for a long while. Dont think twice on owning an UA rifle.. it'll be totally worth it truust me. Big tip: Always Clean your Barrels after use!! One again thanks Mina!!

This is one of the best rifles I’ve ever used. I’ve been all over the place with this, and not once has it failed. It shoots like a dime, has a phenomenal trigger response and accuracy, and just has overall slaps. This was also my first high-end airsoft rifle, and I cannot recommend this enough.

I wish I would have read that you can specify the length of the body in the comment section when you order. I have a PLxC, but even with the slight overhang you can't notice when looking through it. Also, you can't even notice that you have an ARD on. Great fit! And all of this for a great price. I plan on getting another one in the future.

Works great for LVPOs. The grid is so thin it is not visible and the clear view center is exactly that. It stays on after hundreds of rounds.
